About the Network
Pacific-led. Editorially independent. Committed to truth.
Check Pacific was established to address the growing threat of misinformation and disinformation across Pacific island nations. We operate independently of political parties and commercial interests — our only commitment is to the facts. Our network brings together journalists, researchers and media organisations from across the Pacific to verify claims that affect Pacific communities.
